Prerequisites

  • At least one upcoming booking exists.
Step-by-step test instructions
Follow in exact order. Do not skip steps.
  1. 1. Open notification preferences and toggle event-level settings.
  2. 2. Trigger a booking update/cancel flow to generate notification events.
  3. 3. Confirm in-app feed entries appear for enabled events.
  4. 4. Confirm email delivery logs update for enabled email events.
  5. 5. Open email template management and edit one template safely.
  6. 6. Save template and re-trigger event to verify updated copy.
Pass criteria
Guide is complete only when all checks below are true.
  • Preference matrix is respected for in-app and email channels.
  • Delivery logs show status updates for sent emails.
  • Sender remains support@cauldnclark.com.
